WebApi 2.0 Architecture

Good day Guys,

We are using WebApi 2.0 with Visual Studio 2015. The architecture we would like to implement is to add new ApiController's dynamically. The way we currently have found this to work is to build the new ApiController and drop it manually into the bin folder. When a request is made to any methods in this ApiController, the correct response is returned.

What we would like to know is, if the framework was designed to work this way or is this by some chance just working. If this is not the correct way to do this, can you suggest the correct way to do this and perhaps provide a sample demo of this.

If this functionality was intended, then can you explain ApiController and its relationship to the AppDomain in this kind of scenario (hosted in IIS 8.5)

Please can you direct us to detailed documentation around this area regarding WebApi 2.0.
